August 3-5        Computer Forensics: Collection and Preservation of Digital Evidence

This comprehensive three day hands-on class is essential for anyone responsible for the collection, preservation, or analysis of digital evidence.  The in-depth class covers the documentation of evidence, chain of custody, use of low cost forensically-sound tools, imaging and analysis of volatile memory (RAM), live systems imaging, imaging of damaged hard drives, and the collection of evidence in an enterprise environment.  Students will be given a live demonstration of the capabilities of best-of-breed computer forensic products.   After three days of hands on training, students should be able to preserve digital evidence in any environment.  This class is ideal for Information Technology staff, Law Enforcement, and Security Professionals.
